Telecaster build - completion

There were only a few jobs left... I ordered some control knobs and top hat:

Installed a string tee:

And put the strap knobs on:

Then, the final job is to peel off the scratchguard :)

And she sits very nicely in the corner:

And the back:

And neck:

I've been playing her a bit, and it's a lovely sound. It's very light, to the point where I'm going to get a strap with a little more friction to counter the headstock weight.
However, unplugged it sounds loud (helped by the hollow body no doubt) and plugged in it sounds good - my ear is not sufficiently sensitive, nor my pickup experience extensive enough to be able to describe the sound it's making in any useful depth, but I'm very happy with the overall sound of the guitar. It sounds like it should. I'll maybe put a video up once it's visited some better players than I...

I have plans for the next project. This was the fourth guitar I've finished (Martin -> Firebird -> Strat -> Tele). I have a number of projects in my mind (Superstrat, Parker Fly type, Rickenbacker type, Les Paul Jr to name a few) , but for now there's definitely a LP Goldtop shaped hole in my collection :)...
